Meet the Hammersmith Support Team

Meet the Hammersmith Support Team

In just a few short years, the Hammersmith Support Customer Service team has grown across two locations in Nashville and Phoenix.  These stellar individuals manage our team of developers & designers to provide our clients with the best-in-class customer service that separates us from our competition.

Let’s introduce you to these committed customer service warriors whose mission is to keep your website clicking.  They often need to answer a few random questions, so let’s put them to the test.

Heather Locke, Founder and CEO

Heather Locke of Hammersmith Support

How would the team describe you?

Can do.  Will do.

What do you love most about what you do?

The opportunity to make a real impact on our client’s business by providing them a website they will love backed by service they can count on.

How long would you last in a zombie apocalypse?

Not sure… will the nail spa still be open?  That might be the deciding factor.

What’s the best or worst purchase you’ve ever made?

Best: I recently got a MacBook Pro and it’s changed my world.

Worst: I’m not sure if this is the worst ever but probably a Tracy Anderson workout program. I quickly realized it was like paying someone to torture me in my own house.

How would the team describe you?

Lead cheerleader who does lots of grunt work but loves it!”(BTWI also do the real work)

What do you love most about what you do?

I love the people I work with. They make me smile every Monday—an unusual feat in the world of business!

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

The hippo—just because that is one big mouth!

What can’t you live without?

Packaging tape and/or a hot glue gun and glue. It’s kind of like the series Maguyver—the man who made bombs out of Triscuits. A good hot glue gun can help a working mother nearly every day!

Phoebe DeCook, Support Specialist

How would the team describe you?

Friendly and inquisitive. I ask a lot of questions because I like to learn new things every day.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love being able to work remotely, while still having the support of this great team of women. Everyone is happy to answer questions and quick to offer help..

What can’t you live without?

A fast internet connection and our public library. Both do a great job of bringing the world to our door, and as a homeschooling mom, the library supplies us with unlimited hours of quiet reading in an otherwise noisy household.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

Hyenas… sneaking in to steal another animal’s kill, and what are they laughing about anyway?

Kelly Foster, Administrative Assistant

Kelly Foster - Administrative Assistant

How would the team describe you?

Loud and efficient. I like to laugh but I always meet my deadlines. I keep the company calendar moving smoothly, work on contracts and billing, and assist with any administrative items as they come up.

What do you love most about what you do?

The flexibility of working from home.  But even though we are in both TN and AZ, it still feels like we are in the same office.

What is the most useless talent you have?

Dancing—although my kids would argue that my dancing, is definitely not a talent, but more of an embarrassment to the family.

What can’t you live without?

My family (best enjoyed or sometimes endured, with an adult beverage).

How would the team describe you?

”Bad Ass!” Enough said.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love the people I work with – both my team and our clients. I also love the variety of technologies we get to work with. Lastly, I’m proud to work with a highly skilled team that genuinely cares about their clients and community.

What’s the best or worst advice you’ve ever been given?

The practice of meditation is not clearing the mind of all thoughts. The practice is noticing the mind’s thoughts and coming back to the breath each time the mind is distracted.

What is your spirit animal and why?

Slow loris.  On one hand… it has big eyes, is adorable, and is a fruit lover. On the other, it is stealth and tough as nails.

Carla Brundige, Marketing & Business Development

Carla Brundige - Marketing & Business Development

How would the team describe you?

The “ideas person” and “relentless.” I always have a thought or idea on how to solve a problem.  Sometimes they also refer to me as a bulldog, which is apparently has something to do with getting things done and is a good thing?

What do you love most about what you do?

I love working with such a varied and talented team of women who believe in supporting each other in a fun environment.

What is your spirit animal and why?

A flamingo (not a bulldog). I love their hot pink color that makes them both stand out and inspire
