SilverSavvy is the brainchild of founder Laura Lynn Morrissey, who saw a major gap in the digital space: where’s the tailored information, support, and curated retail for the 60+ crowd? Spoiler alert: it didn’t exist. So, she built it.
“Our online world is built with younger generations in mind,” Morrissey explains. “If you’re over 60, there’s not much out there specifically tailored to you and your individual needs. With SilverSavvy, I want to talk directly to you about the services, information, and products that benefit and support your unique life.”
The result? A sleek, easy-to-navigate site packed with expert info, handpicked products, and personalized consultations for everything from selecting caregivers to making sense of long-term care insurance. Think of it as a stylish digital concierge service for thriving in your golden years.
Branding & Design: Because Feeling Seen Starts With Smart Design
To bring SilverSavvy’s vision to life, the team at Blush Cactus went to work crafting a brand and website that’s equal parts sophisticated, approachable, and practical.
“Your brand is how you make people feel—even when they can’t quite put their finger on why,” says Jena Gribble, Blush Cactus’ founder and creative mastermind. “For this project, we wanted to create a seamless experience—one that’s professional and warm, but also makes mature users feel valued and appreciated.”
And the result? A digital home that’s stylish, easy to navigate, and filled with thoughtful design touches that make browsing (and shopping!) a total breeze.
Development & Implementation: Making Tech Work for Real People
Let’s talk about the nerdy (but oh-so-important) part—making this gorgeous design work effortlessly. Enter Hammersmith Support.
One of our biggest challenges? Integrating SilverSavvy’s affiliate product recommendations with Amazon in a way that didn’t feel clunky.
“Building the SilverSavvy site was all about balancing function with simplicity,” says our fearless founder, Heather Locke. “We needed an intuitive backend so the client could easily update content, add categories, and manage everything without tech headaches. At the same time, we wanted a seamless experience for users—no unnecessary clicks, no confusion, just clean, straightforward navigation.”
And we nailed it. The result? A high-performing site that empowers SilverSavvy to manage their content while delivering a smooth, frustration-free experience to their audience.
The Bottom Line: When Creativity & Tech Collide, Magic Happens
The SilverSavvy site launched late last year, marking yet another powerhouse collaboration between Blush Cactus and Hammersmith Support. Together, we created a site that doesn’t just look beautiful—it works beautifully, too. And that, friends, is what we’re all about.
