That’s right—not client but clients! The pool of nonprofits that submitted applications to be our 2022 pro bono clients was so full of organizations doing amazing things, we couldn’t choose just one. We are thrilled to introduce you to the two organizations that Hammersmith Support will be providing with pro bono maintenance services for the next year:
The Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona
Founded as its own charitable organization in 2000, DBSA is the first diaper bank in the US and has paved the way for more than 250 similar organizations across the country. Their story goes all the way back to 1994 with a Tucson Arizona business hosting a diaper drive as part of a holiday service project. The annual collection grew to the point that the company was working six months a year on just their holiday diaper drive! The hard work and dedication spawned this charity that serves both infants and adults in southern Arizona. In 2020 alone, the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona distributed the following:
- 860,000+ baby diapers
- 215,000+ adult diapers
- 180,000+ period products
Government assistance programs such as WIC and food stamps do not allow for the purchase of diapers. Thanks to DBSA’s dedication to the cause, for every $1 donated to them, they can distribute $3 worth of diapers—providing not only necessary supplies but dignity to the many recipients as well.

The Land Trust for Tennessee
The motto of The Land Trust for Tennessee is “Today. Tomorrow. Forever. We work across the state to conserve places we can’t afford to lose.” TLTT has conducted extensive research to define ten “Conservation Opportunity Regions” of both public and private grounds that represent a range of land resources across the state. The land consists of farms, forests, historic sites, recreation areas, wildlife habitat, and scenic landscapes. The goal is to proactively conserve land, both public and private, to support local economies, public health, historic preservation, biodiversity, sense of place, and more.

What They Can Look Forward To
Over the course of the year, these nonprofits will benefit from our maintenance package which includes the following:
- Site backups and live staging copy maintained
- Security scans and malware prevention
- Site optimization
- Full site test each month
- Submission to Google Search Console
- 2 hours of content updates monthly—update images, wording, service packages, “About Us” pages, add or update donation forms, etc. This time can also be used to add additional features to your site!
The result is a site that functions more efficiently, safely, and is more visually appealing as well.
