We are excited to share with you our client highlight of Be Styled Co., a Nashville-based wardrobe specialist and style influencer. Blair of Be Styled Co. previously ran her influencer business largely from Instagram, but as her business has grown, so did the need to expand her marketing reach with a custom-designed website.
Why a Website?
For Be Styled Co, having a a website provides credibility, an extended marketing reach and a place for clients to purchase products—some of which might not be comfortable purchasing from social media sites. Additionally, a website allows Be Styled Co. to showcase the services they offer in addition to shopping links. Be Styled Co offers styling sessions, closet revamps, personal shopping trips and more.
Our goal was to make Be Styled Co’s website not only easy for customers to use but for the Be Styled Co team to keep updated. influencers don’t stock products, but rather highlight other businesses’ products and earn a commission by referring sales to other businesses through affiliate links. The Be Styled Co. group needed to be able to quickly and easily load individual items that utilized affiliate links, which differs from their Instagram page which uses Like to Know It (a shopping app). Both locations—website and Instagram—needed to offer the same products with very similar access to purchase.
New Business Features
A new feature for the Be Styled Co team was creating a blog page for them to produce longer-form content versus the short form used in social media. Blogging is a great way to boost SEO through keywords, backlinks, and more but it also provides free content for readers and site visitors. Blogs are a great way to tell a longer, more detailed story or to really dig deeper into a topic.
Unlike a social media platform, websites enable emails to be captured easily. These can be used to create newsletters and other forms of reaching out to current or prospective customers.
