Ryan House is a local Phoenix nonprofit and we were thrilled to help improve their website to ensure that they have the best resources to continue doing the amazing work that they do.
About Ryan House
When the Cotter family learned that their youngest son, Ryan, had Spinal Muscular Atrophy, they were told to simply take him home and enjoy the short time they would have left with him. Overwhelmed with caring for Ryan’s needs and worrying for the unknown struggles that lie ahead for their family, they were referred to Helen House. It was there that they learned what palliative care meant and how it would help Ryan and their entire family in the weeks and months ahead.

After the family relocated to Arizona to be closer to family, they decided that they wanted to bring the love, compassion, and assistance they had received from Helen House to others facing the same obstacles that they were. Founded in 2004, Ryan House has grown to partner with several organizations across Phoenix to provide outstanding care for families walking unimaginable journeys. The mission of Ryan House is to “… enrich the quality of life and create cherished memories for children and their families, providing a much-needed break from 24/7 caregiving, as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys.”
Website Woes
Ryan House provides many services in varying levels, which can be challenging to effectively communicate. Their previous site had a lot of keyword stuffing that affected their messaging and SEO.
While we worked on the new design and development of the new website, Hammersmith Support hosted and maintained their current site. Even though their current site needed improvements, our maintenance and hosting would ensure that it would run smoothly and safely.
What We Accomplished
In addition to streamlined keywords and messaging, we gave the Ryan House site a fresh, new look. The new site was built with mobile-optimized infrastructure, and we focused on maximizing speed and loading times. In addition, our accessibility widget was added so that all visitors can access the site. We’re looking forward to Ryan House continuing as a website maintenance and hosting client!
